The first four months been quite challenging. I’ve been pretty difficult to live with and be around at times. I’m moving forward with my career and trying hard not to look back.
Here are a few lessons I’ve learned recently.
1. Rumors are rumors unless person the rumor is about has confirmed them.
2. EVERYONE is replaceable. Don’t get too comfy or cocky in your position.
3. EVERYONE will fall from grace at some point in their lives.
4. We are responsible for our own happiness. If a job or person is a source of your unhappiness, then YOU need to change the situation.
5. Exercise is needed in order to heal. I am grateful for Soo Bahk Do for this.
6. “You can’t stop stupid but duct tape will muffle the sound.” – Bill Castleberry, retired teacher
7. People have different ideas of what the word “work” means. TMIM seems to think writing and working at a computer all day is “doing nothing”.
8. Severe depression makes a person skinny.
9. Setting one mastery goal a day will make you feel like you’ve done something worthwhile.
10. Always check the facts first before going into freakout mode.
There are other lessons learned, but some of those lessons cannot be shared. 😉
